The acoustic concept foresees an electronic
manipulation of the driving sounds of the buses and instrumental
compositions that are created by four European composers and performed
by soloists from other European countries. The electronic part represents
the subconscious dark underground and is generated directly from
and with the noises of the motors of the buses. The live and electroacoustic
compositions represent the conscious presence that floats melodiously
on the electronic texture. On its route and at certain stops of
the buses windows may open and soloists or tape recorders enter
in a dialogue or a musical competition with the musicians and the
audience aboard the bus.
